Sea and Sky

Exploring the unknown has always beckoned mankind. Climbing the highest mountain, going to the South Pole, even the moon are just some of the adventures that have been undertaken in our history. Today’s site is one that allows a visitor to experience the thrill of discovery without leaving your armchair.

The site, Sea and Sky, is a chance for a visitor to use either the Starship Sagan or the Seasub Cousteau to explore the depths of the oceans, or the outer reaches of the solar system. Here is an audiovisual treat that makes full use of the multimedia tools available of the Internet. In Seasub, you can play games, visit undersea life, or a sea lab where you can experiment with different models and learn about our oceans. In the Starship, you boldly go where very few have gone before and explore the solar system, play games, and a section on whether we are alone or not (a works in progress). Both sections have innumerable links to other resources as well.

This site is a great place to not only have fun and explore, but to learn something as well. Introduce your children to it, and you will be surprised at the results.
